Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles

Located in a 1927 structure once called the United Artists building, the downtown Ace Hotel made an early 2014 debut. Commune Design has dusted off the deco era building's Spanish gothic elements and polished them for a modern sensibility. In addition to 166 guest units, the property has an adjacent restaurant called LA Chapter with bistro food, a bar, and the 1,600-seat Theatre at Ace with a 2,300-square-foot lobby beneath 35-foot ceilings. Upstairs an available rooftop features a bar with a lounge area, and a wading pool.
